Job Purpose:
To work with the managers and partner in the Private Client Group Accounts team to provide excellent client services in areas including statutory accounts for Companies below the audit threshold, unincorporated year end accounts, management accounts, and VAT Returns, as well as occasional ad hoc projects.
In addition, there will be a requirement to assist with the growth of the team and developing the staff.
Duties:
- Fully responsible for accounts deadlines and aware of client needs and requirements of client
- Prepares more complex accounts
- Work unsupervised at client premises and manage team on site
- Project focused
- Contribute at client meetings
- Contact point for client
- Reports to and work reviewed by Senior Manager/Partner
- Prepare fee quotes
- Responsible for billing and monitoring budgets
- Look after team of people (supervisory)
- Liaison with other departments
- Networking (internal and external)
Experience / Qualifications:
- Qualified ACA or ACCA
- Must be competent in use of FRSSE
- Must understand disclosure requirements
- Competent user of SAPA or equivalent accounts production package
- Must have a good working knowledge of Quick books and Sage Line 50
- Understanding of unincorporated businesses and trusts will be useful
- Some supervisory work is essential
- Ideally will have managed a small team
- Good interpersonal skills are essential
- High standard of written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to work as part of a team
- Willing to commit to long term career in general practice environment
- Work additional time as and when required
