We offer tailored courses for lawyers on a variety of topics. Training is provided by experienced speakers who are able to structure the training they give around case studies and from their own experiences.

All training is provided free of charge (including all course materials) and can be held at a time and location convenient to you, for groups of six or more.

Disclosing electronically stored information: a step by step guide

In November 2009, Lord Justice Jackson finalised his review of civil litigation costs, including a proposed change to the practice direction in Part 31 of the Civil Procedure Rules and the inclusion of a questionnaire to accompany it. After many revisions the practice direction has now been finalised, with the use of the electronically stored information (ESI) questionnaire set to become more commonplace. 

The seminar answers the following questions

  • What is a ‘custodian’?
  • What are dumb PDFs, and why are they a problem?
  • How do you search password protected data?
  • What are the issues surrounding data exchange?

Loss of earnings to the self employed
