Smith & Williamson was originally founded in Glasgow in 1881. After a long absence from the city, the new Glasgow office opened in December 2005.

The team specialises in providing traditional stockbroking and investment management services and developing close personal relationships between clients and senior experienced fund managers.

Our investment services are tailored to meet the requirements of each of our clients, whether they are private individuals, trusts, charities or institutions. We have a particular interest in helping Scottish charities manage and grow their investment funds.

Portfolio management is the core service offering in our Glasgow office and both discretionary and advisory services are available. Independent thinking and individual flair is positively encouraged, allowing us to build bespoke portfolios within the parameters agreed with the client. We also manage and administer PEPs & ISAs, SIPPs and fixed interest portfolios as well as offering private banking facilities for individuals.
