Managed funds service

We offer a managed funds service from each of our investment offices, either on a discretionary or advisory basis. We have built up considerable expertise in this area and have extensive contacts across the industry.

Collective funds are a well established feature of the stockmarket and their advantages are widely recognised. These products give a spread of investments in a cost effective form, and they are particularly suitable for clients seeking diversified exposure to overseas markets. In recent years fees have become more competitive and the range of funds has increased. Investors can now choose from many styles, including products such as hedge funds and private equity vehicles.

We invest in a wide range of external funds and can also offer our own Smith & Williamson Investment Funds where appropriate.
