Smith & Williamson receives FSA approval for fund changes
7th November 2007Smith & Williamson has received the go ahead from the FSA for a number of changes to its OEIC and Unit Trust range. The change of name to allow the dropping of the Nucleus name and move the retail funds to Smith & Williamson took place from 1st November but changes to offer extra share classes, different charging structures and single pricing on the unit trusts require unitholder notification and will take place in the New Year. Funds administered on behalf of clients or external managers will begin with 'S&W' and be listed under the company Smith & Williamson Funds Administration Limited.
