New faces in the Southampton office
15th April 2008Accountancy and financial advisory group Smith & Williamson has welcomed three new faces to its south coast office in Southampton.
Robyne Oliver, 28, a former Southampton City College student, joins as office manager at the firm's base near the city centre, from where nearly 60 staff operate.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old Brad Butler has arrived from Australia on a three-month secondment. He joins from Nexia Court & Co in Sydney.
Trainee accountant Eddy Formstone, 25, who lives in Southampton and is a former student at King Alfred's College in Winchester, is the third new face at Smith & Williamson.
He is "on loan" from the group's Salisbury office for 16 weeks, helping out with a busy schedule of corporate finance deals.
Eddy was recently a finalist in the Apprentice Trainee of the Year Award for "outstanding achievement" in working towards his chosen field. The category was one of several in the Business Excellence Awards held by Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.
Southampton office director Richard Green said: "It's a privilege to have Robyne, Brad and Eddy on board as we continue to grow the business. We also wish Brad a warm British welcome - he's missed our winter, which is no bad thing!"
