Smith & Williamson wins ‘Large Firm of the Year’ honour at Accountancy Age Awards

Smith & Williamson, the leading accountancy, financial services and investment management group, has claimed the prestigious ‘Large Firm of the Year’ title at the annual Accountancy Age Awards for Excellence.

Gareth Pearce, chairman of Smith & Williamson, accepted the award on the firm’s behalf. He said:

The Accountancy Age Awards are now in their 13th year and celebrate success and achievement across the industry.

Smith & Williamson is no stranger to recognition from independent judging panels. The firm recently won Aim Advisory Team of the Year at a ceremony run by South West Insider Dealmaker, while the Financial Services and Markets Group scooped the Best Compliance Consultancy Services Award at the Compliance Register ‘OStCaRs’. The award recognised the quality of the firm’s advice to investment businesses.

Smith & Williamson has also won several awards for private client excellence, including Best High Net Worth Tax Team (LexisNexis Taxation Awards) and Private Client Accountancy Firm of the Year (In Brief High Net Awards).
