Pension review service
As retirement gets closer an individual's thoughts turn to whether their savings will be sufficient enough to provide them with enough income and capital once they finally retire.
For many it is when they realise the importance of those pension contributions that they have been making, and for some it is when they realise that they have not been making enough.
It is common for individuals to collect a number of pension plans, be they from former employers or their own personal pension plans. Experience suggests that these are not always managed in the most efficient way and tend to be forgotten until they mature. Bearing in mind the amount that can be accumulated in pensions during one's lifetime it is important that investment and contribution strategy are assessed continually and that you have a full understanding of the likely levels of income that your savings will generate for you in retirement.
To help you keep on top of your pension plans, notably the suitability of their investments and the adequacy of your contributions our pension review service provides the following:
- an analysis of the costs and investment performance of your pension plans relative to their peers
- an analysis and critical review of the asset allocation of your pension investments across all of your pension plans
- recommendations as to how the asset allocation of your pension investments might be adjusted based on your risk profile and the number of years you have to go to retirement
- projections of the values of your pensions at selected retirement dates to assess the levels of income that they might produce
- an assessment of whether the current level of your pension contributions are sufficient enough
The service can be extended to include other savings and sources of income and will inevitably give reassurance to some whilst others will have to address how much they save and/or consider delaying their retirement date.
