Ian is head of audit for the Bristol office with responsibility for all aspects of the audit process undertaken by that office.

• Member of the Smith & Williamson quality control monitoring committee

• Chairman of the Bristol professional practices group

Ian is a highly experienced auditor acting as the responsible individual on numerous audit assignments. He has a portfolio of audit clients ranging from those on the full list to small owner managed business.

Ian regularly advises professional practices on conversion to Limited liability Partnerships, in addition to advising on their commercial and strategic affairs.

Ian's membership of the quality monitoring committee means that he has responsibility for the monitoring of the quality of audits in accordance with international standards on auditing undertaken by all of the offices in the Smith & Williamson group.
