Martin Courtney

Martin has extensive experience in advising on tax aspects of M&A transactions, group re-organisations and corporate acquisitions and disposals. He also is very experienced in tax aspects of corporate recovery be it managed restructuring and refinancing, or through formal insolvency process.

He joined Smith & Williamson in March 2006, having previously been with big 4, and Group Tax Manager of a multi-national Plc. Martin graduated is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor.
