Jonathan remains a member of the investment team and includes the additional role of Chief Operating Officer of Cunningham Coates Stockbrokers, the Belfast Office of Smith & Williamson Group.

He holds a PhD from Durham University, an Executive MBA from Queen's University in Belfast and is a Fellow of the Securities Institute.

He maintains the strong family connection with Cunningham Coates having joined the firm in 1995.
