Nick joined NCL Investments in September 1988, which later merged with Smith & Williamson at the end of 2002.

He joined the firm as a graduate trainee and, having passed all the relevant exams, became a member of the Securities Institute in 1993. Following his training he became involved in the management of portfolios for private clients and charities, becoming a Director in 1998. Nick is a member of the Investment Management and Banking Subsidiary Board of Directors.
