Piers joined NCL Investments in 1992 following a Short Service Commission in the British Army, and worked for five years with the head of Private clients. NCL Investments merged with Smith & Williamson at the end of 2002.

He is a graduate of Durham University and a Director of The Old Etonian Trust.

Piers manages discretionary and non discretionary investment portfolios for private clients as well as trusts and Self Invested Pension Plans.
