Matthew is responsible for a portfolio of about 200 pensions audit clients and 16 charity clients and manages around 120 of these directly. In particular his expertise is pension schemes and charity audits.

Previous to joining Smith & Williamson in 1998 Matthew worked at PwC in a specialist pensions audit department.

Matthew regularly writes articles for ‘Professional Pensions' and for the Smith & Williamson Pension Trustee Bulletin and Charities newsletter. He is also a member of a number of professional groups including the ICAEW Pensions Technical Discussion Group, PMI Trustee Group and STEP Charities Group as well as being a representative with the Pensions Research Accountants Group and the Society of Pension Consultants.
