Over the past 20 years, Philip has applied his pro-active approach and creativity to over 400 transactions and is largely responsible for the national recognition which the firm’s corporate finance activity now enjoys in the mid-corporate sector.

He qualified in 1980, set up his own audit, tax and corporate finance practice in 1983, and merged his practice with Solomon Hare to establish Solomon Hare Corporate Finance in 1989. He became the senior partner and led the firm’s successful growth strategy and it's merger with Smith & Williamson in 2005.
