Julie has specialised in audit and investigation work encompassing auditing and advising small, privately owned companies through to plc's including complex groups and Aim listed companies, and dealing with technical audit and accounting issues.

Julie has acted as Reporting Accountant in connection with a number of Aim admissions in recent months. 

Julie has a particular experience of working in the housing sector and other non-profit organisations. 

Investigation work has involved due diligence assignments commissioned by both purchaser companies and funders.  Julie has undertaken reviews of internal controls and has advised on risk management for a range of organisations including a national charity. 

Julie joined Smith & Williamson in 1992 having trained and qualified as an accountant with Ernst & Young in London and Southampton.
