Panos specialises in corporate recovery and restructuring, advising companies and their creditors, including banks, landlords and trade suppliers.

His approach is to achieve the best return possible for the company and its creditors, using informal restructuring techniques, and where needed, formal insolvency appointments. He also has extensive business review experience, reporting to lenders and boards of directors.

Qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1987 with PwC, Panos specialised in corporate recovery a year later, obtaining an insolvency license in 1990. He joined Smith & Williamson in 2006 as an associate director where he is now working as part of Stephen Cork's team.
