Gareth Pearce

Gareth qualified as a chartered accountant with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co in 1978. In 1981 he joined Electra Investment Trust PLC as an investment manager in their venture capital division, becoming an investment director in 1984.

He joined Smith & Williamson as head of the corporate finance department in 1986, became group managing director in 1995 and chairman in 2000.
