David has over 25 years experience of the pension and financial services industry, 30 of which have been as a consultant in the advisory sector. He has been with Smith & Williamson for 6 years.

David specialises in all aspects of installation and restructuring of employee benefit packages, including group presentations and individual employee counselling programmes. He has actively been involved in advising on both Small Self Administered Pension Schemes (SSPS) and Self Invested Pension Plans (SIPPs) since their market availability.

David is fully authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority to provide financial advice and holds the advanced Financial Planning Certificate, the trustee certificate of pension knowledge as well as five Pension Management Institute associateship papers.
