Ian Stinson

Ian is a director in our Bristol office VAT team and has been with the firm since leaving HM Revenue & Customs in 1990.  He has been instrumental in establishing the VAT and indirect tax service that the Bristol office provides to clients across all business sectors.

Ian advises on all aspects of VAT planning and compliance for a wide range of businesses, from start-ups to multi-nationals and plc's.  He advises on transactions ranging from property development and investment, to cross-border trading, including overseas VAT registration and compliance with the assistance of other specialists throughout our Nexia International network.     

Ian is a member of our specialist property group and our technology, media & telecommunications (TMT) group.  He is also a member of the VAT practitioners group and of the Institute of Indirect Taxation.
