Helen has over 20 years experience dealing with the tax affairs of private clients and owner managed businesses.  Much of her work has been with business owners, advising on many aspects of the running, realisation and inheritance planning for businesses.

Many of Helen's clients are property investors and developers, whether individuals, companies or trusts so she has particular experience in structuring property development ventures and minimising tax on property disposals, including for instance, the sale of land for development.

Helen joined Smith & Williamson's private client tax practice as a partner in 1997.  She relocated to the Bristol office in 2007 but spends time in the London office each week.
