James is a chartered accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner. He has specialised in insolvency since 1988. 

His industry experience includes banking, heavy and light engineering, aviation, agriculture, energy, transport, pubs and clubs, and the automotive sector. He has acted as court-appointed receiver in fraud investigations and has a variety of cross-border insolvency experience. 

James is a regular speaker at restructuring seminars and courses.
