Adrian is a Business Studies graduate and has been working in fund management since 1980, originally as an investment analyst before moving on to managing client funds. Having managed gross fund investments for Reed Elsevier Pension Fund and Yasuda Trust Bank, he joined Albert E. Sharp to set up and manage the firm's European Unit Trust. For the last 7 years he has specialised on charities, pension funds and trusts.

Adrian is a fellow of the Securities Investment Institute. He is a recent past President of the institute's Birmingham branch and continues to serve on its committee. He is also an associate member of the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute.
