Steve is a chartered certified accountant, authorised insolvency practitioner and registered property receiver.

He has 18 years restructuring and recovery experience advising lenders and other stakeholders across a broad range of sectors and industries.

Steve spent 18 months on secondment to the Lending Services Department of HSBC Bank plc where his focus was high risk lending with customers with turnover up to £25m, based across London and Southern and Eastern England. He had previously spent time seconded to Credit & Risk and Corporate Banking teams at HSBC.

Before joining Smith & Williamson, Steve spent 10 years in the corporate recovery group of a leading City accounting practice, where he lead a team focusing primarily on lender review work, administrations and receiverships.
