Gordon Alexander spent nine years at Laurie Milbank and subsequently Chase Manhattan Securities after its acquisition of Laurie Milbank in 1986. He became a Member of the Stock Exchange in 1984. He joined NCL Investments in 1989, which later merged with Smith & Williamson at the end of 2002, and manages investment portfolios for a substantial number of private clients, trusts and charities.
