David Bull is responsible for identifying staff development needs, and implementing programmes and strategies to meet these needs. He has specific responsibility for developing leaders within the firm and for introducing approaches to support these individuals drive the business forward.

Most recently, David worked as an independent consultant supporting small biotech companies on leadership development and performance management approaches. Prior to this he was Global Head of Leadership and Organisation Development at P&O Nedloyd and Vice-President of Leadership and Organisation Development at GSK International.

David joined Smith & Williamson in April 2007.
